Custom-made doors with intricate woodwork create a space filled with delicate, soft light and shadow.

About TATEGU

In Japanese architectural terms, Tategu refers to wooden products that divide spaces, such as doors, partitions, and sliding doors.

We process thinly sliced Yakusugi and Japanese cypress into doors, sandwiching them between glass. They express both delicate beauty and power.
Doors can be fused using a traditional Japanese craft technique called 'Kumiko'.
Kumiko is a technique that involves cutting Japanese cypress wood into thin strips and assembling patterns.

They will expand the scope of the space you envision.
